Sabaloka Dam Archaeological Survey Project, Prehistoric Survey, West Bank: Report on Fieldwork (27th October - 27th November 2011)
Abstract
The report presents in more detail the tasks performed and the preliminary results achieved by the multidisciplinary team of the Czech Institute of Egyptology (Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague) during the first season (autumn 2011) of their rescue prehistoric research in the scope of the Sabaloka Dam Archaeological Survey Project commenced by the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums of Sudan prior to the building of a dam in the area of Sabaloka mountains and the 6th Nile Cataract.
