Abstract
The conference paper talks about the advantages of internet sites as an invaluable resource in teachers'' jobs. In the first part, examples of Czech and international teacher''s resource sites are described.
In the later part, the teacher''s site www.czechforforeigners.com is presented. The site was created to provide the possibility of sharing materials for teaching Czech as a foreign language.
It was made by the teachers of Charles University Institute of Language and Preparatory studies - Albertov to help them overcome the lack of creative teaching materials. At present, the site contains over 85 resources that are divided into seven core groups such as Grammar, Reading, Games, Tests and Listening.
The materials are worksheets that a teacher can use to practice learners'' language skills in an interesting way. The number of materials is growing constantly.
