Publication at Faculty of Arts |

Abstract

Language has a specific position in writer's profession, because it is not only instrument of creation, but also important part of human identity. In history of literature there are only few writers who abandoned succesfully their mother language.

The situation is usually more complicated as we could observe on examples of Romanian exile writers: Norman Manea, Petru Popescu and Dumitru Tsepeneag.
