Abstract
Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorders of the airways. The chronic inflammation is associated with airways hyperresponsiveness that leads to recurrent episodes of coughing, wheezing, breathlessness and chest tightness.
Inhaled corticosteroids are currently the most effective anti-inflammatory medications for the treatment of persistent asthma in children of all ages.
