Cathedral of St.. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert : The Shrine of Czech patron saints and kings.

Abstract

An extensive monography devoted to St.Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle and buildings that preceded it. The focus is primarily on the works of the Luxembourg era when Matthias of Arras was the master of construction management, until 1356 when he was followed by his successor Peter Parler.

Changes in the Cathedral during the Renaissance and the Baroque period and its completion in the 19th and 20th century are also portrayed.
