Abstract
The study deals with the work of Emmerich Alois Hruška (1895-1957). It is an attempt to recall the importance of literary and art works of the almost forgotten author of poetry and prose, playwright, illustrator, scenographer, graphic artist, puppeteer, bookplate creator and bibliophile.
