Abstract

This study is dedicated to the appraisal of the life role of Austro-Hungarian Foreign Minister Aehrenthal (in office 1906-1912). The author concentrates on the problem of political changes in Habsburg monarchy in 1906, recapitulates the diplomatic career of Aehrenthal, appraises his political aims, informs about the judgemenst of the contemporaries and historians, evaluates his role during Bosnian annexation crisis and after.
