Abstract
The entry treats the topic of communication in education and training of police officers of the Police of the Czech Republic in relationship to the needs of police practice and the changes which take place in the police organization at the time. It focuses on identification of current challenges for police education in the area of integration of the topic into the whole spectrum of police educational system, mainly within the basic professional training and lifelong education.
It also stresses the importance of language education and training aimed at self-development of police officers. The entry also considers the topics of intrafirm communication and media communication.
Special attention is paid to the activities conducted by Police Training College of the Ministry of the Interior in Prague in the field.
