Czechoslovak Legions and Legionaries in Czech and Slovak Tradition and Historiography

Abstract

The essay decribes the background and origins of the ligionary tradition in Czech and Slovak historiography and literarture, political stratification of particular authors and the development of the legionary tradition from the First Czechoslovak republic till present.
