This article explores the topic of 1.5 and second-generation Vietnamese children and their integration into Czech society using elementary education in Prague as an example. The children of foreigners face many changes in connection with the integration process.
Important factors include parents economic activities, the closeness of the Vietnamese community and childrens level of education and language knowledge. This paper is based on a qualitative survey, carried out in Prague 4, where the majority of Vietnamese foreigners living in Prague are concentrated, and on a secondary analysis of relevant literature.
The selection of important integration factors and possibilities regarding their application in research is also important.
