Abstract
The article is focused on analysis of actors which influence contemporary development of suburbanisation in the Czech Republic. It begins with theoretical concept of suburbanisation, then evaluates consequences of urban sprawl on landscape and society and possibilities of master planning to eliminate negative aspects of suburbanisation.
