Progress of geometrical imagination of preschool-children

Abstract

The contributors represent observations of preschool children who had the opportunity to manipulate a number of years (through freeplay) with a Soma puzzle cube. The guided interview the six child described as everything from individual pieces can pass by so many ways.

It turned out that the preschooler is working at both visually descriptive, descriptive and theoretical level. Based on these findings the authors recommend to directors of kindergartens that puzzle Soma cube gave the children available and enrich the environment class.
