Abstract

The paper concentrates on the interpretation of a concept "to be and being" in Plato's late ontology, which is present in the central part of Plato's dialogue Sophist. In this part of the dialogue are described relations of so called highest kinds.

From the relations of these highest kinds are derived general consequences for understanding of status of being in Platonism.
