Abstract

This paper deals with the distribution of relict and active periglacial landforms in the High Sudetes and explains how these various landforms link to specific (altidude, aspect, inclination of slopes) parts of the relief. These parts of relief represent specific local microclimatic conditions.

Based on this analysis, it was defined areas above the alpine timberline, where you can talk about the periglacial environment documented by the occurrence of periglacial landforms
