Abstract
The paper is concerned with the possibility of metaphysics in contemporary philosophy. It is argued that traditional metaphysical systems and concepts have become questionable.
Nevertheless, it is shown that metaphysical problems are inevitable and require new solutions. In order to find them, can philosophy draw inspiration from some traditional concepts if they are understood in their original intention and translated into the contemporary context.
