Comparative analysis of selected of forms cross-country skiing and free bipedal walking

Abstract

The study deals with comparison aktivity of musles during cross-country skiing - classic technique and free technique. The comparison was made on the basis of surface electromyography with synchronized video record.

The results demonstrate that timing of muscle's activity of postural's muslces during cross-country skiing is very similar as the timing activity of muscles during walking. The timing of phasic muscles doesn't correspond to the timing muscle's activity during walking.
