What makes possible Rawls overlapping consensus: value pluralism or value homogeneity?

Abstract

This study analyses the concept of an overlapping consensus elaborated by US political philosopher John Rawls and asks the question, if it can accommodate the strong cultural and value pluralism of contemporary societies.
