Abstract

The object of researching was compared of muscle activity timing during one locomotion cycle during free bipedal walking (as the base human locomotion) and during cross-country skiing of classical technique - gliding step and V-2 skate on right side. The compare was made by electromyography analysis with synchronized video-record.

The results show, that the timing of postural muscles activity during cross-country skiing is very similar as timing activity of those muscles during walking. Phase muscles have different timing during cross-country skiing and walking.
