Václav Jan Mašek and the Czech Chronography Tradition in the Pre-March Period

Abstract

Mašek (1795 - 1847) spend his entire life as a farmer in Vodokrty, a village not far way from a westbohemian small town Přeštice. The author considers his memoirs to by a truly irreplaceable information's source of his life experience and above all of his so called mental map.
