Ecohydromorphological Survey of Streams in Rural Areas

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2011

Abstract

The objective of this study is to verify whether application of hydromorphological survey is suited to identify reaches where restoration would be useful, and subsequently to use the outputs gained as a basis for suggesting specific restoration measures. The study evaluates the ecohydrological status of the study stream Slubice River based on application of an ecomorphological survey method of the river habitat quality - EcoRivHab and the hydroecological monitoring method - HEM, and subsequent comparative analysis of their outputs.
