Invasiveness in introduced Australian acacias: the role of species traits and geneome size

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2011

Abstract

Our research revealed increased invasiveness of introduced Acacia species if they are tall shrubs or trees and are widely distributed in native area. On the other hand no association of genome size with invasiveness was found, probably because of overall small DNA contents in Acacias.
