Abstrakt
The IEC 2011 welcomes scientists working in the various fields of mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, geophysics, structural geology and geodynamic modelling,with application to the formation and exhumation of eclogites and other high-pressure (HP) and ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic rocks. The primary goal of the conference is the presentation of the most recent advances in nanoscale microstructures, compositions, and stability fields of minerals in HP/UHP rocks.
Oral and poster presentations, keynote lectures and special symposia are among the conference activities. This Forum provides an outstanding opportunity for re-uniting with "old" friends, making new ones, exchanging new ideas, and gaining a better understanding of a broad range of disciplines related to plate subduction and exhumation.
