Abstract
The book describes and evaluates the state of civil society in the Czech Republic. It is part of the international project Civil Society Index, an action research with participatory features (civil society actors participated in the research and evaluation).
The description and evaluation is focused on four dimensions: the structure, environment, values and impact of civil society. The conclusion presents strong and weak aspects of Czech civil society and recommendations towards its strengthening.
