Abstract
The review summarizes current opinions on biomechanical properties of bone and their study in humans as well as under experimental conditions. The method of experimental testing of bone biomechanical properties is described in this review.
The purpose of experimental testing of bone biomechanical properties is not to explain the mechanisms of bone fractures in patients. It is intended exclusively for testing bone fragility in rats under various experimental conditions.
