Abstract
The paper presents the problematic issue of authorship of Ethiopian sections of Itinerarium penned by Remedius Prutký. Plagiarism is demonstrated by including annotated translation of one chapter from the manuscript work.
Opening paragraphs of the paper present reports on Ethiopia by Western authors during the 16th through 18th century.
