Different ways of mortality modelling

Abstrakt

In the presentations the authors briefly introduced slightly specific way of mortality analysis. The presented method is based on ratios of age-specific mortality rates of various time periods or of various cohorts.

It was shown that there are significant similarities and that these ratios could be relatively easily modeled and forecasted. The results could be taken as a basis for future mortality analysis and forecasts.
