Abstract
The author deals with the particular coronations of Roman-German King and Emperor and Bohemian king Charles IV (coronations to the Roman King in Bonn and Aachen 1346 and 1349, coronation to the Bohemian King in Prague 1347, coronation with the Iron Crown of Lombardy in Milano 1355, Emperor coronation 1355, and coronation to the King of Arles 1365), with their ceremonies and their social and political consequences.
