Abstrakt
In 2009 Czech Republic was chairing the European Council and we tried to analyse hot is the presidency being assessed by Czech delegates, chairs of working parties and various meetings and, in particular, by interpreters in terms of arrangements for interpreting from and into Czech. Based on detailed analysis and statistical processing of questionnaires from the participants and interpreters, we tried to answer a numbere of questions in connection with the quality of interpreting (relay, retour) and also the quality of delegates'speeches.
