Abstract

This book deals with the development of Party historiography in the 1950s and 1950s in the broader socio-political context of Czechoslovak socialist dictatorship. The author analyzes the making of reform communist historical narrative of "specific Czechoslovak road to socialism" and relationships between historiography and politics in the 1950s and 1960s.
