Effect of retinaculum on patellar tracking in total knee joint replacement model

Abstract

Frequent complications in patients with total knee arthroplasty are related to the patellofemoral joint. They are often caused by the affected patellar tracking in the trochlear grove of the femoral component.

The aim of this study following the work is to identify some of the reason why this occurs.
