The effect of education and family background on leaving the parental home

Abstract

The article examines leaving parental home in selected Central European countries in the second half of hte 20th century. The aim of the study is to compare the timing of leaving parental home and analysing the predictors of leaving parental home, with emphasis on educatin and family background.
