Abstract

The study characterizes the specificity of systematic education of musically gifted children especially at their early age. It shows the difficulties in decisions about the choice of further higher education for musically talented children from the point of view of their further progress.

It describes the problems connected with board admission testing of the candidates for conservatories and higher schools of music. It discusses in detail the advantages and disadvantages of speeding up the development of musically gifted and talented students, e.g. . when they are admitted without previous school-leaving examination.
