Abstract
In the Czech society, the growth of social differentiation has been appeared, mainly because of different economic situation of individuals as well as social groups. That is why the social and economic status, social stratification, social exclusion have come again into their interest.
The chapter is focused on last facts describing the situation in the Czech Republic. The results of some Czech sport sociological researches show the necessity to work on these topics in sport and sport participation in more detailed way.
