Abstract
Construction of a national state as culmination of emancipation efforts of Czechs and Slovaks legitimated nationalisation measures in the economic sphere and evidently handicaped foreign minorities in the new born Czechoslovak Republic. The work explains origins of this construction, its particular components which were formulated by Czech politicians and great business man.
