Abstract
The monograph summarizes basic knowledge about metabolism of xenobiotics in organism. It describes metabolic pathways of drugs and other xenobiotics, the main biotransformation enzymes and transporters that participate in metabolism of xenobiotics, and the factors affecting them.
Monograph is primarily conceived as study material for students of Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University, but it can serve as source of basic information for students and researchers in medico-biological fields.
