Abstract
The tests of the new index UTCI describing the thermal comfort of the human body conducted in 2010. These tests have focused on the UTCI behaviour during extreme weather conditions - the maximum and minimum temperatures, windy situations - between 2007 and 2010.
There was possible to test of the UTCI behaviour on the real data in these years, because it took place in two significant episodes - hurricanes Kyrill and Emma in the Central Europe.
