Foreign language competence of students with learning disabilities at the beginning of the process of learning a foreign language

Abstract

Conference paper deals with issues related to teaching foreign language to pupils with specific learning disabilities and the role of foreign language skills in the first year of teaching a foreign language. Using Foresight-diagnostic test of foreign language skills of students (Malikova, 1989) differences were observed among the general population and students with learning disabilities.

Like in the mother tongue and in foreign language, has pupils with SLD major impact on the speed and quality of building foreign language skills level phonological skills.
