Pharmacotherapy of diseases of the small intestine

Abstract

The chapter deals with drug treatment of coeliac disease, NSAID-induced enteropathy, protein-losing enteropathy, small bacterial overgrowth syndrome and short bowel syndrome. The therapy of vascular lesions of the small intestine, chronic radiation enteritis, Whipple's disease and meiopragia intestinalis is reviewed as well.
