Abstract
Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) is a new thermal comfort indicator. This index was developed within the frame of COST730 project.
A start of research was realized under the egis of the International Society of Biometeorology, Comission 6. The base of the UTCI is a study of the radiation and thermal balance of the human body surface.
The UTCI properties are not known so far, because the index development was finished during a second half of 2009. This article offers a first experinces with the UTCI obtained by statistics with a historic meteorology data from the Czech republic.
