Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the defective execution of the transfer of upper extremities in front crawl, using EMG equipment Telemyomini 16th. It was a pilot project in which we analyzed the activation of eight selected muscles in the shoulder and back.

We measured and analyzed two probands. One long-time swimmer and the other fitness swimmer who learned crawl technique in adulthood.

We found that the activation and involvement of selected muscles of the upper limbs during the transmission of individual probands differ. We believe that stereotype wrong motion in fitness swimmer could be caused by insufficient activation of m .obliques externus abdominis dextra and improper fixation of the pelvis.
