Time and spatial variability of the selected indicators of the phenological early spring in period 1991-2009
Abstract
Duration of flora and fauna cycle is considered as indirect indicator of climate periodicity. Plants and animals constantly react on climatic influencies, we can get total outline of weather and climate.
Phenology data are expression of climate conditions for specific area. We distinguish phenology seasons from meteorological point of view.
Seasons change with weather progress and seasons are defined according specific phenophases. We differentiate phenology early spring, spring, summer - early and full, phenology autumn and winter.
Phenology early spring is connected with vegetation onset, snowdrops and coltsfoot flower, trees and shrubs blossom before sprouting (alder, hazel, willow), migratory birds are flying in (titlark, tipcat) and spring field work begins.
