Abstract
The encyclopedia for the first time covers clearly defined sphere of Jewish religious tradition - Rabbinic Judaism. It covers the time period ca. 100-1800, which delienates the beginning of the system until its contact with modernity.
The book is based on late-ancient, medieval and early modern primary sources and recent secondary literature. It contains references and a bibliography.
