Abstract
The publication provides theory of mechanical behavior of viscoelastic bodies and outline of methodology of viscoelasticity measurement. The book deals prevailingly with linear viscoelastic systems which mechanical behavior is possible to describe by linear differential equations with constant coefficients.
Theory deals with one axis loading. The generalization to 3D is principally possible.
