Abstract

The main aim of this study was to determine important aspects of kick, with the aim to achieve maximum speed ball by football players. Subjects (n = 10) kicking the ball in two ways: instep kick and inside kick.

For each kick was measured velocity of the kicked ball, speed of approach, length of the last step, the time of lower limbs contact with the ground and its force. Research has demonstrated for the inside kick and the instep kick the decisive factors for implementation speed ball as soon as possible: speed of approach (r = 0.924, p} 0.05) (r = 0.928, p {0.05) and time of lower limbs contact with the ground (r = 0.976, p {0.05) (r = 0.953, p {0.05).

On the other side, as the decision has not the length of the last step (r = 0.372, p} 0.05) (r = 0.618, p} 0.05) and force of lower limbs contact with the ground (r = 0.508, p} 0.05) (r = 0.433, p} 0.05) for both types kick.
