The course reader of collected texts was published thanks to the grant provided by FRVŠ num. 895/2011 (Inclusive education: creation of a new course) and presents texts of the editors and of other 6 experts from universities and MoE (e.g. Hana Kasíková, Vanda Hájková, Lenka Felcmanová, Klára Laurenčíková and others) who focused on the the topic of inclusive education (235 pages in total).
The reader aims to provided a complex insights of future teachers into the inclusive education, which has not been part of their preservice training so far. Individual chapters cover the theoretical international and historical background of inclusive education and the concept of diversity in educcation, as well as legislation and education policy framework, cooperation of schools and parents, inclusive research, teaching strategies and classroom climate.
The reader includes also many concrete cases of children with speciál needs and cooperation between a school and a family provided by parents of teachers.
