Abstract

This collective monograph deals with the evolution of man and the inception of human creativity. It explains why the genus Homo people started creating semiotic messages about their existence in the form of cave paintings.

First part of the collective monograph analyses anthropogenesis and evolution of man as a subject of scientific research. Second part of the collective monograph examines the origin and transformation of Cultures of the Upper Paleolithic (Aurignacien, Gravettien, Solutréen, Magdalenénien) within the borders of Europe applying the biocultural and culturological approach.
