The Search for the Quality of Life: A Life Story of Václav Radimský, Estate-Owner from the Elbe Region

Abstract

The goal of this research is to identity a quality of the life in Bohemian Land of 2nd half of the 19th century on example of V. Radimský, an estate-owner from Elbe region.

It identifies the Radimský's home life ("family happiness"), resources of his material welfare ("good life") and his role in the public space at regional (Kolín as town and district) and provincial (Bohemian Land) level ("identification with "national ontersts").
