Abstract

This article presents up to date findings concerning paleolithic and neolithic art. These are frequently overlooked both in pedagogical literature and practice.

The paper uses specialized literature, books as well as articles, and it also refers to expert internet resources to discuss not only classically archeological but also neuropsychological and cosmological concepts relied to pre-historical art, especially to cave paintings. It suggests possible unification of seemingly different or contradictory aspects of this subject
