Heritage education in the context of Western Bohemia : Case study from Bečov Castle

Abstract

There is a longlasting tradition of school trips across the Czech Republic that are organised at the end of a school year. Many school groups visit heritage sites, however they are treated as another tourists.

Thehe were no special educational visits offered to them since very recently. Case study from Bečov Castle (Western Bohemia) shows how to change the situation.
