Ultrapotassic melasyenites (shonkinites), monzonites to monzogabbros and cumulate biotite clinopyroxenites of the Chotělice Intrusive Complex in E Bohemia are rocks petrographically and geochemically (including Sr, Nd isotopic compositions) different from durbachitic plutonites of the Moldanubian Zone. The compositional differences reflect distinct compositional characteristics and tectonic histories of lithospheric mantle sources of ultrapotassic magmas beneath the Moldanubian Zone and at least a part of the Bohemian Zone of the Bohemian Massif.
